The school year has been underway for just over one month now! Students and staff at Pioneer Elementary have been busy learning, growing, and building community. Here's a breakdown of everything that's happened so far.

The new policy for the 2025/26 school year includes ‘Away for the Day’ for K-8 at our elementary and junior highs. This policy is in place to promote student learning and well-being by reducing distractions, improving focus, and enhancing overall student well-being during the school day.

Meet the 2025 Community Excellence Award winners! From inspiring teachers and dedicated staff to incredible volunteers and student leaders, these GPS community members embody our district's values of service, dedication, and leadership, leaving a lasting impact on students, families, and schools across our district.

GPS Future Farmers of America (FFA) students travelled to Indianapolis for the 98th Annual National FFA Convention, where they earned a Silver ranking in the Meat Evaluation event. The Gilbert High School Chapter was honored with a Three-Star National Chapter Award, and seven students received American FFA Degrees.
